Google released it’s new browser today called Chrome. I’ve been playing around with it for a bit and so far this browser rocks!! It’s fast, lightweight, and looks good. This might just become my new default browser! Check out the feature page here, or just download it and give it a try yourself here!

Adobe has released a public beta of Photoshop for the first time ever. The final version of Photoshop CS3 is due to be released this spring. In addition to the new features of CS3, Intel-based Macs will see some notable speed increases with the update.
Head over to Adobe Labs to snag your copy of the public beta.
Photoshop Cafe has an article on the new features in CS3 that’s worth a read too.

I just discovered Songbird. It’s a project by a group of skilled designers and developers who call themselves “Pioneers of the Inevitable”. Songbird is an open-source media player built on the Mozilla platform. That means Songbird has goodies like extensions & themes just like Firefox and other Mozilla apps. Speaking of Firefox, Songbird has a web browser built in and will find any media files on the pages you visit and build a “web playlist” that allows you to stream those files.
I’ve only scratched the surface of all the features of Songbird. Seriously, just go over to the site and download the software. You won’t be disappointed. I know I sound like some kind of commercial for this app, but I’m really that impressed and psyched about this application!
