Design Diary is accepting submissions for the third issue of Designflip. Designflip is a PDF mag that showcases art, design, illustration, & photography. The theme for issue 03 is “Rotten”. I’m looking forward to this one. I’ll probably submit some work as well.

Adobe has released a public beta of Photoshop for the first time ever. The final version of Photoshop CS3 is due to be released this spring. In addition to the new features of CS3, Intel-based Macs will see some notable speed increases with the update.

I recently joined the AIGA. Tonight I’ll be attending my first AIGA event - Clear Space I @ Seven Ten Lounge. I really suck at networking, and I hope to improve that this year. This is my first step in that direction. In my experience, a large chunk of opportunities come from who you know, not what you know.
