I just discovered Songbird. It’s a project by a group of skilled designers and developers who call themselves “Pioneers of the Inevitable”. Songbird is an open-source media player built on the Mozilla platform. That means Songbird has goodies like extensions & themes just like Firefox and other Mozilla apps. Speaking of Firefox, Songbird has a web browser built in and will find any media files on the pages you visit and build a “web playlist” that allows you to stream those files.

I Just discovered a site called Spokeo that seems pretty cool. I think this site could be a huge success. It’s a site that allows you to combine all your social networking accounts into one site. Just as Trillian is an all-in-one IM client, Spokeo is an all-in-one social network site. It also lets you add RSS feeds to your profile so you can include your self-hosted blogs, etc. Sweeeeet.
